PROGRESS OVER 8 WEEKS: Behavior training with Reconcile(R) is more successful than behavior training alone

The impact of Reconcile on the success of behavior modification training

Results from clinical trials of more than 400 dogs demonstrate the positive impact of Reconcile on behavior modification training.[1]

A simple training plan

Given once a day, Reconcile® improves your dog's receptivity to simple training and improves the likelihood of success in treating separation anxiety. Your veterinarian will tell you how to do some simple training, referred to as behavior modification. By combining simple training with Reconcile chewable tablets, you and your dog have the best chance for success in managing separation anxiety.

Reconcile's training program, called BOND™, is simple to understand and easy to do. It has been developed by veterinarians, veterinary behavior specialists and pet owners like you. The BOND plan encourages positive behavior and ignores negative behavior to encourage improvement. It is a gradual process. Include the entire family and make it fun and positive!

Tips for improving behavior

With the BOND training program, there are four simple things to remember:

  • Be positive
  • Only reward calm behavior
  • No more drama when coming and going
  • Develop the dog's independence

This process may take a week or more, depending on the individual dog. Remember to stick with it, be positive and reward your dog for good behavior. Consistent training, along with the daily dose of Reconcile, will help you manage separation anxiety and restore the positive emotional bond you have with your pet.
